Johnstone Textile Space is a bold new contemporary arts hub in Scotland, rooted in Johnstone’s rich textile heritage. The space hosts a programme of exhibitions, events, films, literature, workshops, and performances celebrating cloth, community, and creativity.

We developed an iconic monogram to act as the heart of the visual identity. Inspired by Johnstone’s legacy as a historic cotton mill town, the design elegantly weaves together five strands into a striking monogram.

The monogram’s adaptable structure can seamlessly extend across layouts, making it perfect for creating distinctive and readily identifiable materials.

The brand is both timeless and flexible, easily transformed with different colours to align with various causes or seasonal celebrations, ensuring Johnstone Textile Space always appears fresh, accessible and relevant across all contexts.
